U GUYS HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON IN HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORO NI?
I've finished watching the first season and the only thing I can figure out is that the characters seem to be trapped in place where times keeps on reapeating itself.

Yeah it's kinda like that, but instead it's different dimensions, and kinda like different answers if someone did this, or who doubts who...etc, but Rika is Oyashiro-Sams's incarnation, so she relives every dimension, and remembers it.

I just watched this recently...and I feel as though condensing it to one season (13 episodes) instead of two, and putting a tiny bit more money into the animation, would have turned it into a decent anime. As it stands, I give it a 4/10.
NOW, as for Nick-lan's piece here...If the anime looked anywhere near this good, it would get a bare minimum of 7/10 for the visual value alone.
