Clannad was GREAT. I'm actually re-watching the series now, and I don't know why I made fanart out of it just now!

Well, even though it didn't make me cry (maybe 'cause I'm such a douche), it IS one of the best drama anime out there (on par with Elfen Lied, in my opinion) and I bet it'll make anyone else cry (especially when Ushio comes in during the second season, the After Story).

And well this here is my FAVORITE babe in the series - Ms. Kotomi Ichinose. She's weird, she's a freakin' genius, she's damn pretty and she gives a KILLER violin performance. (literally!)

I also like the others. I think Nagisa, Tomoyo and the twins are cute too (although I don't like Fuko that much 'cause she's annoying) - but Kotomi has that "charm" that got me!

I drew her here together with the things that are important to her - a book, since she likes reading, the teddy bear her parents gave her, her violin which she plays badly, the suitcase, a plane with a trail in the distance and even a pair of scissors in her pocket.

I colored this using poster colors on an illustration board and when I scanned it, I didn't realize how sensitive the gadget could be - 'cause it even captured the texture of the board. I didn't plan that to be visible, but I guess it gives the whole picture a unique feel to it. It's more visible if you zoom in on the drawing.

But overall, I loved making this one.
