I just finished Wolf's Rain. AH! The emotions. *manly tears*

Epic ending to an epic anime - although honestly, I can't say I'm fully satisfied with the finale. Too many things left vague, so I found myself trying to make sense of it all.

Before that, the drawing here. This is a celebration of sorts for me after witnessing the finale - make a simple Wolf's Rain pic. Kiba was an obvious choice. He's the man... I mean Wolf. I guess the whole point of this drawing is for me to have an excuse to draw him up close. The last fan art I made, his face was at an angle and it was full body. I wanted to draw more of his steel eyes, that hair... Arguably he turned out too feminine. He's actually a good looking male anime character by the way - not the usual super long haired, more female like bishounen. He's more of an ikkimen for me. The best part is drawing the shadowy wolves. Four of them - Toboe, Hige, Tsume and Blue.

Okay back to the ending. From how I see it, the "reset" button was pushed. I should've figured paradise is actually the Earth itself - it's former form before man came. The very end scenes before the credit, we see a city much like the ones we see now. And Kiba and the others are there. I feel that's the fast forward day since everything was reset. Then finally seeing Kiba running to "something", for me, it looked like he just sensed Chesa and is running towards her (like the scene where they first met her). So... A loop then? And damn! Looks like Darcia survived.
