It's... finally finished! I have been working on this picture for weeks now! As usual it took; several redoings, several recolorings, several revisions, etc.I'm pleased with how Haruhi here came out! The eyes were quite probably the hardest eyes I've ever drawn/colored. Complications forced me to crop the lineart when I scanned the picture in for coloring, so her red armband was sadly ommited.
I don't know why I love Haruhi so much... it could be her personality, or her design... or the fact that she dresses up as a bunny girl frequently! ^____^
I tried to make this look as good as possible for her, because... well you know, the Earth might have been destroyed by Haruhi if it hadn't turned out well.

She's a great character--but not sure if anyone would actually desire her as a friend, neh? XD I think it's probably a mix of design and personality (and voice actress!) that may do the trick!
Even though it's hard to remember how I read the novels before the show and think about how the voice in my head voiced her...hmm
