Brilliant and very apt. The Cat In The Hat terrified me as a kid XD

LOL - yeah, I'm not sure kids are comfortable with that much anarchy invading their lives.  They like structure (I'm told).
The Cat In The Hat is actually pretty radical.

Kids like order around them (so that they can cause chaos on their own terms, I guess.)

They like structure (I'm told).

Which probably accounts for the popularity of Teletubbies - every episode follows the same custard-based plot.

The Cat In The Hat is actually pretty radical.

True dat Dr Seuss was something else. Thanks to your stellar pic, I can't unsee The Cat In The Hat saying going toe-to-toe with Superman (or would it be the Grinch in TLIID world?) while thinking "the world only makes sense when you force it to..."

I don't know if you've seen it already but after some musing I pitted him against Horton (as in "hears a who").  I decided it had to be another "good guy" in the Seuss canon.
And I've just homaged the cover to DKR #1 again with Conan.  That cover is such a classic - I don't think it's possible to do a bad version...

Sorry about the late reply. It's been one thing after another the last few weeks. I must check out the Horton piece. Sounds funny as anything

Agreed. It's so iconic.
