Description
This is not generally the type of thing I would normally upload here but I like it a lot so I figured I would... And I just wanted a place I could upload it in high quality.Photograph of my Grandfather in his awesome VW van.
Starting to get back into using lights more.
I can't decide whether I like it like this, or slightly more desaturated. I got a print of this made and the colors were slightly duller and cooler and I think it works better than the bright warmness of this...

Really nice contract in this picture, the more "ambient" lighting makes it look like he's stopped somewhere waiting for someone.
Also, apparently us VW owners just have the same type of hat.

this is a great shot. did u use other sources of light for this? portable flash maybe? or reflectors?

Thanks, I used 2 lights. One behind him for the rim and flare look and then one in front with a big umbrella on it to soften the light.
