You know, for a moment there I thought the scarf was her hair!
I love the way you went against the light, and I love Brooke's facial expression ^^
Lovely

Wow your really into shooting against the light huh? I wanna try this out actually since i've never really done it. Do u have any quick tips as to how you take these cool shots?

Yeah, There is something about the flare of shooting into light that I really like..
One thing that I keep in mind when taking photos into light is that I generally try to expose the photo fairly bright. Even if it blows out in the highlights I'd rather that then have to brighten everything in photoshop and deal with all the grain that comes from pushing up the shadows. Also, if you are using a camera that supports 'RAW' files then you can usually (depending on the sensor in your camera) pull at least a stop of highlight information when processing the raw file.

Thanks that helps alot! And i noticed that you always shoot at sunset, and you cover the sun a bit. Is this how you get just enough light on your subjects so they are clear but still keep the dramatic sunset background?

Yeah, It's one of the things I do... It's never actually on purpose that I cover up the sun, It's just that I like to have an interesting background and usually that involves something that covers up the sun. Also, if something is covering the sun a little and it blows out to white (if I am exposing for the subject) then there is a greater chance that I could pull back some detail into the highlights since it's not as bright as full sun.
