Though to be honest I never expected Waluigi to get an outfit so soon and heck, before Luigi and getting one alongside DAISY ? (seems like an odd choice though LOL I ain't complaining)

Correct, Rosalina was the last character to get a new outfit! Yeah, I'm just as surprised by this as well! I guess Nintendo wants to give the Daisy and Waluigi fans some love since they're pretty underappreciated.

I was hoping for some new 2d art of Waluigi from the MKT twitter since they do new art for the country themed tours but nope, just daisy, the art is cute at leastΒ Β
but come on nintendo waluigi literally has 3 pieces of **modern** 2d art and only one of them you're able to find in a high quality--

Yeah, Daisy does get more attention than Waluigi. In a way, I've noticed that Nintendo tends to switch attention to certain characters so hopefully Nintendo give him some attention as well.
