3 new characters in one page. Seaspray's beast mode is a Delphimimus, a four and a half foot long squid that mimics the shape of a dolphin. vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/sp… This is my favorite creature from Marc Boulay's "Demain Le Animaux Du Futur," a french book I got for my birthday.Scamper is based on a Rapide, one of Dougal Dixon's predator rats from "After Man." Filch's Beast Mode is a Raboon (another of Dixon's creations), a primate that runs on two legs with a mostly horizontal body much like some dinosaurs.
Also thought it'd say something about Filch that most of these characters measure time by cycles, but he goes "Yeah, screw your fancy cycles. I'm gonna call it a minute." Just so no one's confused, I'm counting a solar cycle as one day (obvious enough) and a deca-cycle as ten days, not a decade. So 2's about 3 weeks.

The Future is Wild and Animaux Du Futur are two separate projects. TFiW was released about a decade ago, I think. The other is more recent.
