Ran across this over at Joemadfan.com and whilst i'm in between Young Allies #5 and the upcoming #6 i thought i'd have a bit of fun.This is 95% brush... maybe even some brush in areas i shouldn't have... but...it's for fun right.

Ah hell yea... He blew it up x2 what i did. I just did it on my time off to keep the blood flowing in my hand (so to speak). But ol' Splash blew it up so hard...i have a print now hangin on my office wall...

Yeah i dunno about that. He would prolly punch me in the face... (with words...or bails of fire soaked money) if he saw these. I think Mad needs someone better than me to do him justice...fo sho.

As for the crowquill. I try my damndest to stay far away from those things. But thanx. This was done nearly 95% with a W/N Series 7 #00 minature. and a Rapidosketch pen for a few face details.

Yeah I mostly switched to brush too, mostly because I never really managed to use the crowquill correctly; but I still really like the rendering one can have with this tool

I hear ya there. I can use the quill but it's really not fun. Becomes too much like work. But i will say it definitely has its uses.
