It gives me an eerie surreal feeling. I do love it very much though.

man that looks great... its a really interesting composition altogether.
i find when painting lines or really small things, if you used something pointed rather than a brush you get better control. your lines look fab either way though..

i appreciate it. would a fountain pen work on canvas? maybe watering the paint down will help too. thanks for the tip!

i actually have no idea if a fountain pen would work....
you could try it on the back i guess..

those colors are very bright and beautiful, but i think maybe the lines of the sky could have looked btter with more details and captiving(sp?) ^^

though, i really really love the disposition of the electric lines and the movement of the crows! thanks for sharing your work

well, there is a reason for the sky being the way it is. the whole canvas was wet when i did it, just picking up different colors with the same brush. if i were to do it now it would have much more form, and some harder lines to it.
thank you for the compliments. it was a pleasure to share :]

I think the colours are great, they run nicely into each other. And I don't like red often but this red is really beautiful, and like the others said: cool shadows and the depth you created with it.
And I think there is one other thing you did nice and that's the upper part that isn't all red but still a little bit blue.
Good job!

i remember that while painting the sky, none of the paint was dry, and i used one brush for all the colours. it was plenty of fun to make.
Thank you

This is really cool and eye-catching. I love the effect of the black silhouettes against the colorful sky, and the colors are amazing. The way you blended the orange and red into the sky really makes it look like fire, all the energy adds to the concept with the power lines and such.

The composition is good too, the intersecting diagnol power lines add intrest to the sky (not that it needed any more...) and I like how the posts are crooked. Those birds flying into the foreground and the powerlines going into the background on the bottom give it depth, which is pretty rare in pictures without the ground!

This is really well done, I love it

I'm glad you like it Its great that you picked up on the abstract fire/ power thing in the painting. I think the birds represent a kind of power as well. Or maybe its just me.

And thanks for the fav!

wow, this is really nice, I love the colors and sillouttes. I dont get a sinister feeling but more of a feeling of energy in the air. I'm just curious about how big it is though... Great work

Thanks for the kind words! I find the painting changes with the ambient lighting, and my mood. Spooky. But its a fairly small canvas, about 20 inches tall.
