Description "What have you done with my machine?!"

Spider-Man vs Doc Ock! I knew today's prompt was going to be difficult because I always find Spider-Man to be quite the challenge to depict correctly. I hope I did ok here! I was mainly basing this off the scene from No Way Home on the bridge.

I got a bit ambitious after Drawtober Day 16's perspective that I managed to pull off so I tried messing with dynamic perspective again and while it isn't perfect, I am happy with it!

I wanted to go further with this by drawing the entire bridge background but I had already spent so much time on it that I decided that a more action-y design would be cooler for this particular drawing. Maybe later if I improve enough I'll come back to this one and redraw it, but time will tell.

Overall I think Doc Ock may be my second favorite villain. I think my first favorite is Mysterio after Jake Gyllenhaal's performance in Far from Home. I think Doc Ock took second place after Alfred Molina's performance specifically in No Way Home. I thought he was really good in Spider-Man 2 despite not really caring for those films much, but No Way Home did him so much justice. I really love how drastic of a demeanor he has between evil Doc Ock and mild-mannered Otto Octavius. I really love how Alfred Molina pulled it off.

In case you were wondering I guess I'd say my third favorite Spider-Man villain is Venom? Or maybe Goblin. I'm not too sure. I might have to say it's a tie based off the comics I've read and the different versions I've seen (aka mostly just the movies and Spectacular.) but I also think Sandman is super cool visually. I love how the sand is rendered in all the different comics, movies and animation.

Time: anywhere from 2 to 3 and a half hours. Definitely the longest time I've spent on Drawtober so far.
