This morning while having breakfast I watched another episode of PokΓ©mon Sun and Moon: Ultra Adventures; it was episode 29, ''Why Not Give Me A Z-ring Sometime?''.I never really took notice of Acerola when I played the game on 3DS... Let's just say that this episode changed everything. O_O
I must give credit to Yuji Asada and Masaaki Iwane for giving life to this character in such a lovely way!

I've haven't watched a single scene of her in the anime, but in the game, she always intrigued me.
If I remember correctly, in the library, you can read a book about an old kingdom that used to rule on the Alolan Islands. And, by coincidence, Acerola is the one showing you the books.
She wears that ripped dress, and yet she has that golden bracelet around her arm.
She looks happy all the time and yet, I can't help but think that she's feeling lonely...

I did remember getting the same kind of vibe from her too while playing the game, but that's about where my interest stopped. I think that overall, the Sun and Moon games didn't really leave a lasting impression on me because of their gameplay. The anime on the other hand really made me appreciate the characters and setting of Alola.

It's sad that PokΓ©mon can't seem to tell a story with many loveable characters without having to hold your hand at the same time...
