From our Puella Magi Madoka Magica role playing story, here are our original Magical Girl characters.From left to right:

This is mostly to compare their heights/proportions and for the fun of seeing them all together.
All of these were uploaded within the last week seperately with small descriptions of their backstory and drawings of their Soul Gems.---

I have another few questions about them, mostly about their overall power.
First of all, in terms of overall power and ability and such, how would all of them rank as compared to each other? Like on a list, who would be considered strongest, who would be considered weakest, and in-between and such. Can you list them in terms of strongest to weakest for me? If any are about equally matched in power, let me know that too. I just want to know which is the strongest and weakest and such.
Second of all, In comparison to the original 5 Maho Shoujos, Madoka, Homura, Mami, Kyouko, and Sayaka, if each of them were to have a 1vs1 fight against the original 5 girls, which ones would they be able to win against, which ones would they probably lose against, which would probably end in a tie, and such?
It wouldn't be a fight to the death if you don't want it to, perhaps it could be just a simple sparring match (you know, a practice-fight to test each others abilities). For each girl, tell me if they could win, lose, tie, or such against each of the original 5 girls from the official series. Like for instance, If Amane were to fight Kyouko, would she win, lose, or tie, or anything else, and then do the same for the others on both. It can be just a short statement for each one (like I think she'd probably win to her, but lose to the other one etc), but if you want to explain it more, go ahead. I'm just curious as to how these Maho Shoujos would fare against the original Maho Shoujos.

If I was to rank their skill/power levels I guess it would go something like this:
1rst - Himiko and Yuki : Both of them became Magical Girls on the same year and are both quite experienced and powerful. They know many dark secrets about Magical Girls and Witches and can use powerful abilities without wasting too much magic.
2nd - Amane and Yoko
Not quite as strong as the more experienced Magical Girls, these two made their contract more recently and they are still learning to control their magic use. They are still very strong, mostly because of their willpower to protect the ones they love. Both rely more on their own strength rather than magic, and they always try to become stronger.
3rd - Saki
It's sad to say that even though she shows great enthusiasm and good will, Saki is the least experienced of the Magical Girls. She has strong defensive abilities and flashy magic moves but she is quite careless. She has a poor notion of the amount of magic she uses and she would probably get herself in trouble if Amane wasn't around to watch over her. She still is brave, however, and she never backs down from a fight.

Well I understand if you don't want to compare them to the original team. That's okay.
Well this helps me understand how strong they are, though I don't necessarily like or dislike them any more or less after hearing this. Murasaki still seems very lovable to me, even though she's technically the weakest, though I sort of figured Yuki would be strong. However, wouldn't Yoko be better than Yuki, since Yoko uses fire, and ice is weak against fire? Also Himico seems like a more formidable opponent now, if she's that powerful, but not unbeatable.
Comparing the ones in mine, I'd say that Jo Ayara would rank in-between 1st and 2nd on this list (like 1.5). Her skills are rather unique and don't use too much magic, (mostly since the widely used body disassembly skill of her's is merely just an ability they all have, but used in a more creative manner), so she wouldn't tire out as quick. She uses that in so many useful and creative ways that she can be a tough opponent. Plus, she's survived long enough to be rather experienced and knows some of their secrets too, but doesn't tell most of them since she doesn't think they could handle the truth. However, Himico and Yuki's attacks seem stronger in overall offensive power, and they seem like the type who could outwit Jo rather easily. And even so, since she'd not take it as well if she were to fight against the Witch Form of someone she actually knew well, that could have an impact. Not to mention, her special attack (her Charged-Up Head Throw), can be risky at times, since she has to run back over and retrieve her head after using it, and the fact that she can now be easily knocked apart can sometimes make things worse on her in battle.
For the other one I'm working on, Haruka Conley, I'd say she'd rank about 2nd (Yes, Haruka is weaker than Jo, but not too much). Haruka's Cohorts are excellent at protecting herself and overwhelming the enemy, and she uses more strategy in her attacks, rather than just blindly rushing in, and many times, Haruka can be quite unpredictable in her attacks. However, Haruka knows less about the dark secrets about Maho Shoujos, and she's been a Maho Shoujo for less time than Jo has, so she's a bit less experienced. Plus, she uses her magic a bit more often, and her Cohort-Summoning ability takes a considerable amount of magic and time just to create one, so she would be get tired and exhausted a bit more quickly. Not only that, but she lacks an actual Special Attack, and her Machine Guns and Cohorts attacks would be weak compared to Himico and Yuki's attacks, but around the same power compared to Amane and Yoko's attacks.

It's interesting to know what power you estimate your characters to have compared with mine; it gives me a clearer idea of what to expect if they met. ;D

Yeah, I usually consider that with my characters, and I certainly don't want them to be overpowered. After seeing the stuff about yours, I have a good estimate on how strong they'd be compared to yours.

My series though, has a little bit different of a team, and not all of them are Maho Shoujo OC's. Mine involves two of them who are OC's of mine (one whom I've finished and one who's still in the works), and one who isn't a Maho Shoujo yet since she hasn't made a contract, but is considering doing it when she decides on a wish, but goes along with them just because she wants to.
The rest in mine are characters from the original series (Mami, Sayaka, Kyouko etc). However, the Witches in mine are OC Witches, with the exception of Walpurgis Night, who appears at the end, before Homura reverses time in mine. Other than that, there isn't any witches from the Original series in mine, and they are all new Witches that they face against.
Also, mine takes place in between the second and third times when Homura reversed time to fix everything, being like Time Reversal 2.5 or something. When does yours take place?
I'd love to see how things would be if my Maho Shoujos and yours teamed up. It would probably have interesting results. Though I wonder how they'd react to seeing some of the stuff that Jo and Haruka can do.

I'm sure your Mahou Shoujos and mine would make an epic team indeed, though not all or mine are the social type (considering that Himiko as more of an antagonist and that Yuki is such a loner).
What I would really like is having some of your original Witches battle some of my OCs, and having some of your OCs battling Himiko. (^^)
About the timeline, I didn't think of that yet. Since none of the official Madoka Magica characters have appeared in our story yet, it's not of much consequence. XD But I would imagine it being any timeline before Madoka changes everything.

Okay, sort of like mine, in between one of the original time reversals, one of the best ways to fit it in, since Homura went back countless times and just kept trying to fix all of that mess. Another good way would be to make it a prequel before Homura ever made a contract, or such, in the first place, though I'm not into that.
And Himico. That's unique that there's an "Evil Maho Shoujo" who just wants to destroy them. I'm still working on Haruka, but I bet Haruka could do fairly well against Himico most of the time. If Himico were to fight against Jo Ayara though, well I'm not sure how it would turn out or who would win, but Jo certainly does have a lot of tricks up her sleeves, so she's no easy target to defeat.
BTW, have you seen my Maho Shoujo FC, Jo Ayara yet? The one of mine who wears the gray Maid Outfit? I'm not aware if you checked her out completely or not, because you hadn't responded to my note and such about her. She is a rather interesting Maho Shoujo, and very cute too. What do you think of her and such? I suppose she could fit in, since this is another time reversal, and it could be that she doesn't meet the other Maho Shoujos in yours.
Well I have one Witch done, Lydia, and you already gave a good overlook of how that battle would turn out. I have more Witches in the works, such as Claudette and Jane, but their art styles are rather tough, as you might know. However, I do have rough sketches of them done, and their descriptions and such written out. If you want, I could send you notes about them and what they are like. They are rather interesting Witches, and would be quite a sight to see them fight these Maho Shoujos.
