Description Happy Friday, Space Pirates!

I told you I'd have some stuff coming your ways these days, and a promise is a promise.

Here's an exclusive poster I've done for Devin Hunter and the City of the Slaver Queen, another novel I'll be working on with my FREE MARS partner in crime, David Pauwels. I've already shown you a couple of images of this project and raised some interest, but today I'll share a bit more of the premise of our new tale:

"Devin Hunter and the City of the Slaver Queen is an 80 page graphic novel. It is draws heavily on the lurid pulp science fiction of the 1930's and 40's and follows many of the conventions of these provocative tales.
Captain Devin Hunter, Earth woman, is an intergalactic mercenary, privateer, and gun-for-hire. She is our Buck Rogers, our Flash Gordon, but with an edge. She and her crew of notorious space adventurers seek their fortunes aboard Hunter's rocket ship, the Argos. Her crew, misfits from the four corners of the galaxy, are loyal to their Captain beyond question. Nyxxa, a young, female alien is the ship's navigator and communications officer. Rez Vek is the young hot-shot pilot with the skills to (almost) match his ego. Skegg, the huge alien barbarian, is the ship's muscle- a creature of little words, but great wisdom. A warrior-monk with a rigid code of honor, the Vellex. Rounding out the Argos's crew is Minerva “Minnie”, a robot who serves as ship's engineer."

Excited, yet? I'm very proud of how this is shaping up and we've already got a mind to get this rolling very soon. I'll be setting up a Poll about it, so be sure to cast your vote there.

This novel will mark my return to my monochrome palette, something I very much look forward to; I think this style of coloring compliments my drawing very well and I have evolved to a degree where I'm very confident working with it again.

On a final note, this project will be produced and possibly published under the OUTLAND Entertainment umbrella, a very professional and ever growing publishing house. You can check its website here: [link]

See you soon! Have a great weekend!

Nic.-

That's not entirely accurate, my friend... digital is going to happen, a bit further along.
