Happy Tuesday, folks!

In keeping with the series I started yesterday with my warm-up featuring Sue Storm, I bring you the Marvel Universe's top genius: Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic!

I always loved Reed and related a lot to him growing up; not that I'm the smartest man alive. Far from it But in the fact that he was so awkward managing social interactions, always absorbed by some higher idea or purpose that left no place for even the smallest bit of chatter with another human being. And yet, he's one of the most honorable and loyal characters in the Marvel mythos, always willing to set the example and work towards the betterment of society, the world and most of all, his family. He never stopped beating himself up for causing Ben Grimm's transformation, nor for never finding a proper 'cure' for his condition. And more than once he's exhausted himself to the brink of collapse to help others, including the X-Men in one of my favorite sagas from the old days.

Thus, I hope I've done justice to one of my favorite heroes. I certainly tried to apply a lot of personality to both his facial features and his overall body language, taking advantage of my latest style practices and stepping out of my comfort zones to bring more variety to my artwork. As with Sue, I also kept to the traditional Kirby-esque aesthetic and vintage flavor
