Description

"Finn: Okay, stay calm. Stay calm.
Poe Dameron: I am calm.
Finn: I was talking to myself."

*whew*

This was quite a week, but I managed to wrap it up more or less unscathed.Β

Today's warm-up involves another character from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens in what's become evidently a series
I enjoyed watching Finn's evolution a lot and I think John Boyega has a LOT of charisma. In a movie that's packed with a lot of other important characters from the original trilogy and some new hardcore ones, he stands out very well and brings some innocence to the mix that I think was brilliant. I also like the fact that I thought he was the one that had awakened in The Force, while in reality, he's just a noble badass trying to protect his friends.

I may be following the warm-ups throughout the weekend and finishing up this series, so I hope to see you all here for a bit at least

Have an amazing end of the week!

For me finn was the best of the movie: Kylo is too much a darth vader wannabe, and rey is good...but it track to much on luke, finn instead really bring a new part, the universe bring to new eyes which is nice.

Realmente me agrada finn ma sque ningun otro, desde esa mala suerte que tiene a esa cara de "por favor" mientras es muy noble, trae lo mejor de la modernidad y se muestra muy bien aqui

One of the best lines in that film! That stormtrooper became everyone's anti-hero

I still think he should've kept some of his old armor, the helmet or chestplate at least. If abandoning it was about distancing himself from the First Order, he could've just had the armor recolored, Star Wars Rebels-style. Leaving it behind certainly didn't stop the Order from tracking him down.

I think some choices have more to do with design/storytelling than they do with logic in films. In fact, if we kept to strict logic in films, I think we'd be in for a very boring ride, especially in Star Wars Though it'd be nice to think of a scientifically-and-strategically-accurate version of these films.
