Hey folks!

As some of you may know, I'm a huge fan of the Westworld HBO series and this year marked its return for a second season after a long wait. I appropriately celebrated its premiere with a warm-up of the mysterious and dangerous Man In Black as portrayed by the amazing Ed Harris.

While there were many, many scenes that stuck with me throughout this chapter, I thought it fitting to wrap up its finale with the same character, contemplating his journey accross the park. It wasn't easy, of course; neither for the characters or the viewers like me. No punches were pulled and the relentless rebellion of the hosts continued while the different threads of the bigger picture interwove in complicated and brilliant forms. Many have said that they find the convoluted timeline and the baroque plot boring and stifling but it's the exact opposite for me: I love to unravel a mystery with many layers. And if each one presents an even deeper question, all the better. As it were, the season's finale was not giving me too much of a headache as I'm quick to pay attention to even the smallest details. Yet, the post-credits scene threw me off completely and put a smile on my face. These guys did it again and I'll be coming back for the third season with as much enthusiasm as I did for this one (if not more!).

If you haven't watched the series, do yourself a favor and see it. If you're a sci-fi fan like me, who likes to ponder beyond all the common questions presented in your usual yarns, you'll be delighted. The cast, the story, the cinematography, the directing and especially the music are of a quality seldom seen even in this golden age of TV.
