Description
Daughter of the Police Department Captain, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) was a close childhood friend of Norman Osborn's son, Harry, as they both assisted in the same school. After Middle School, they distanced, as Harry went to Standard High, a private school, while Gwen went to Midtown and started to date Flash Thompson, so she could fill the void Harry left. There she meets Peter Parker.

Gwen, marked by her optimism and faith in people like her father, sees things in Peter that the others don't. As Peter becomes less timid, she begins to uncover more and more about him use that to break through some of Peter's armor. The two would eventually develop a connection through that. (They would bond over thier love science, loss of family, among other things).

Peter and Gwen start getting closing, and become a couple. For 4 years, they have a happy relationship, and Peter plans on propose to her, until the Green Goblin captures her and kills her in the Brooklyn Bridge, in a fateful night where Peter could not save her.
