She is a priestess of the Temple of the Moon, her breathing technique is inspired by the moon god Tsukuyomi, or Kaguya (both are the same person, but Tsukuyomi represents the male duality and Kaguya the female duality of the god). Like Tanjiro's father, who has to do a dance in the name of the god of Fire to bring their family prosperity during the winter, she has to do a dance every full moon, to bring healing and peace. Her bird is an owl, her Nichirinto is that oz, which is adorned with a red ribbon, and the flowers are the same flowers she carries in her hair. It has 6 ways of breathing, being the most powerful Tsukuyomi, the ability "Thou shalt not die" is not an offensive ability, but one capable of healing her allies (she would never use it with a demon). Despite her somewhat calm appearance, she is an extremely temperamental person, this is evidenced in his dance "No longer human", which creates illusions of smoke in the minds of demons with the ability to transport them for a few moments to their most painful and sad moments they have when they were human, moment which she used to behead them.

Also, her dance is not related in any way to the breathing technique of Kokushibo, it is more a derivation of the water breathing technique
