Description Time to update that ol' influence map. Here I want to explain why I take influence through the styles that others had created.

1. Disney's Nine Old Men: The craftsmanship of each animator is important for these guys. Milt Kahl, Les Clark, John Lounsbery, Ward Kimball, even Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston have help shape the filed of animation.
2. CCS (CLAMP): CLAMP created this manga series in 1996 and now with a sequel out, this got my attention. Kero-chan is very easy to draw while I'm still finding some kinks to drawing the CLAMP style.
3. The Simpsons: I know the show since I was 4 years old. Each character seems to be getting a ton of used to drawing, but it'll be worth it at the end.
4. Looney Tunes and Eric Goldberg: The zaniness of movement all comes down to Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, and Eric Goldberg, who also is an animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
5. Hanna-Barbera: Scooby-Doo (Pictured) is one of the best of H-B's works. For limited animation, these cartoons give great personalities on the TV screen.
6. Bruce Blitz (CARTOONIST): When I first got a tape on how to draw cartoons, Bruce Blitz was the guy that taught me how. Great zany lines and simple designs help me think of how cartoon strips are made.
7. The Muppets: The sketches that Jim Henson and the Workshop people create to help build the Muppets were the best. One day I might actually build one based on my sketches.
8. A Certain Franchise: Getting into this was very particular, but I made it work. I love Misaka Mikoto's design. Cute and Smart.
9. Ni Hao, Kai-Lan: Discovering this show as "Downward Doghouse" on NickJr years ago, drawing these characters was interesting to the least.

MAIN INFLUENCES/INSPIRATION:
10. Winnie the Pooh related work: A.A. Milne, E.H. Shepard, and the Disney animators all worked on this silly old bear and friends for 90/95 years. This is the main inspiration for most of my drawing work because of how sketchy the lines on the characters and the backgrounds can be.
11. Cartoon Saloon (Song of the Sea): Cartoon Saloon's simplistic shapes and color gives it a storybook feel in their films. Song of the Sea accomplished this with extra love. I love every bit of their design choices. Even Saosire seems to be pretty darn good.
12. STUDIO GHIBLI (Spirited Away): Ghibli is known to created films with characters that reflect real-life and those that are inspired by those things. They give it a sense of realism while also being simplfied for Ghibli standards. Spirited Away is the best example of this. Chihiro's design is dull, yet, very delightful, the pigs give it a scary realistic tone, and even the spirits and workers get a more anthropomorphic approach while also looking like snails, frogs, and spiders.

The original map belongs to Fox-Orian.
