me too! i'm a bit worried as i had mixed reviews (without spoilers, just impressions) but i really have to take a look at it.
You know here's in Italy Lupin's probably one of the most beloved anime since a.. well a lot, i think like 30-40 years so far xD with the three series (and the fourth too but i was busy xD) going in loop on tv, and all the specials and the movies made at least till the first 4-5 years of the 2000s'. But i stopped a bit watching them, or looking for the original. I imagine in Japan they never stopped with tv specials and movies... I just hope one thing, or rather two things but one is almost impossible
the first (veery impossible or unlikely) i'd love a Lupin series or special taking place back in the 60s'/70s', i love that age vibe, to me it's the most Lupin-esque time. (they'll never do it, i know xD)
the second would be (but maybe they already did it, i repeat i haven't checked in quite a lot of time) making Lupin go back doing what's his real job: stealing things seemingly impossible to steal. No treasure hunts. I like em, ok, but sometimes he seems more a sort of Indiana Jones rather than a super thief xD. Also i'd love to see something, at least a little thing, about Zenigata and his fantomatic family (somewhere was mentioned a adult daughter who worked)

Yeah they just have to mix up different stories from time to time otherwise him stealing stuff would be boring I mean there's only so many ways you can take a jewel from museum without it becoming boring, but yeah I have heard some episodes are just really slow and boring, haha.
