Description So, I have a question for anyone that might be reading this. I'm very seriously considering starting a Nuzlocke comic. However, I'm kind of stumped on which game to pick.

My favorite games are red/ blue and fire red/ leaf green. However, I feel like Gen 1 games are overdone so I'm a little hesitant.

Silver/ gold or soul silver/ heart gold could be cool because they do include Kanto but aren't quite as overdone.

Ruby/ Emerald and Diamond/ Pearl aren't as interesting to me.

I'm also totally open to doing a Black or X nuzlocke, although I haven't played through a significant amount of either of those games and might fail miserably. Anyways, I'm curious to know what you guys think.

Do whatever you think is gonna be the most fun. Who cares if there are a million other comics out. This is your story, so own it.

In my opinion you should do Heart gold/Soul silver

Yeah, I think that's what I'm leaning towards right now.

A whole lot of people actually do Gold/Silver/Heartgold/SoulSilver nuzlocke comics, personally I would do the one I was most engulfed in the story with, because that is an important part of a comic series. But its up to you. I can see why Red/Blue/Firered/Leafgreen comics are so popluar, there isn't much of a storyline, so theres a lot of room for making your own.

True. Yeah, I guess the story is much more important than the game you choose.

yea. Cool thing is, if you have a favorite pokemon that is a later gen than the one you choose, you can still put it in there, unless your doing it along with your actual nuzlocke game

Maybe you could do a Crystal run? You hardly see any of those, and it's Gen 2.

Yeah, that could be interesting. Definitely leaning towards a Gen 2 game.

Take the one you will do the most original story with it. No matter which game you took, if your story is different, there are no problem.

That's a good point. Thanks!

Pick Platinum, it's the one with least amount of nuzlocke comics (I'm already playing it because I want to do a comic too), but be careful, because Platinum nuzlockes are like hell. Everything is dangerous: wild pokemon, gym leaders, NPCs, Team Galactic (the grunts not so much, but every admin is a threat), the Elite 4, pretty much everything can stab your back.

By the way, watching you, you have some pretty cool art

Yeah, Platinum is definitely the least done. I'm sort of leaning towards gen 2 at this point though, since it has Kanto (my favorite region) while not being quite as overdone as gen 1.
