I-I-I can't stand it. To me it can cause damage the minds of people, kill brain cells, have long-term physical conditions and can push people to do harder drugs.
You can argue with me all you want but what I say stands as it is.

You don't have to like it. But numerous studies have shown marijuana does not kill brain cells. Rather, it "freezes" them until the high is over. Marijuana has been shown, however, to kill cancerous cells in various studies performed on individuals with certain types of cancer, including leukemia. You were taught to detest marijuana by your peers, friends, family, and the government, who outlawed it before performing conclusive research and determining exactly what it is and what it does. People can be wrong and mislead, you know. There's also no study that says it pushes people to do harder drugs. Marijuana is not a gateway drug. You are the first person who has ever said that. Whoever taught you that lied to you. I once read a study of 4,000 people that determined marijuana actually DISCOURAGES the use of harder drugs. People take drugs to get high. If you can get high on something as harmless as pot, why would you do it with something that could easily kill you?
Meanwhile, alcohol kills brain cells and damages your liver. Tobacco kills brain cells and almost your entire body. Are they acceptable? Unfortunately, they are to many simply because they're legal.
I don't smoke it, and I don't have plans to. But I'm not going to judge, and I'm surely not going to buy into the ancient propaganda. Remember, the masses have been wrong before. About slavery, about the solar system, about evolution, about women's suffrage, about segregation, and most importantly, prohibition. You can argue with me all you want, but what science says stands as it is.

If the 18th amendment was still in effect we'd still have people smuggling in alcohol and tobacco.
What we did to tobacco products is tax it and should remain taxed REGARDLESS of political differences.
What Colorado and Washington should do is tax marijuana because it could cause people to have short term memory loss.
It should also be kept out of reach of children and should have a license to show that they're 21 or older.
MY OPINION is that it is a drug only to be used for medical use not recreational use because people have been known to abuse power.

Sone people are going to abuse anything you give them. It's a fact of life. But pot is pretty fuckin' hard to abuse, so I'd rather it be more common than liquor or tobacco.
And marijuana is already taxed and age regulated.

I'm more than glad to say I've never given into the peer pressure to smoke marijuana, or tobacco or drink alcohol. I'm never doing any drugs.
