Description Well here is my water phoenix now.

He has the same dimension like the fire phoenix.
The only different thing is the colour ^.^

Well at this moment i know that the picture isn't the best,
but as soon as possible i will add a better picture with a better location for the phoenix.

I'm thinking at the moment of an iceland.
Let's see if i can manage that :]

But so far.. i hope the picture now is good enough to see how the phoenix looks

So cute! How did you make something like that? It's adorable, but must have been a royal pain to make, hm? ^^

Thanks ^_^

Ah well how I make them..
It's uhm.. kind of two layer beadwork. The back and the belly side are two different parts, but made with one wire. With every row you are switching between upper and lower layer ..hrm.. thats hard to explain without showing it.
Maybe check out that : [link]
There you can see the "birth" of my green forest phoenix

Heh yeah the first one, my fire phoenix, was a pain to do, because I didn't knew how to do it at the first try

And it's kind of funny, for some reason is my blue phoenix the most viewed xD

It comes up before the others in a search for some reason. x3 that green phoenix is incredibly cute, too! 8D I saw someone make a massive beaded dragon, it was one of the most intense looking crafts I think I've ever seen. Gotta love those ren fairs. @-@
I'm more a photoshop or pencil type of person, but occasionally I dabble in costume crafts. I've got shoes with the riddler and the scarecrow on them that I need to post to dev. 8D
But back on topic, those beaded birds are SUPER cute! >w<

heh yeah I guess it's course of the view count ^^

A massive beaded dragon does it give a picture of it here at DA or somewhere else?
I would like to see this one ^_^

heh I dunno, I guess that I'm more a builder then a drawer and so ^^
I try the drawing stuff too but it mostly looks kind of retarded, except if I have a sad or extrem good mood

Yeah post them up here, I would like to see them

aaand ~> thanks ^^

I wish I could find a picture of the beaded dragon. It was intensely cute.

I totally know what you mean about the drawing thing. Sometimes i go back and look at my drawings and all I can do is cringe at how my drawings used to look. >w< I do that sometimes with other people's art, too, but I always try to at least be nice about it. I will definitely have to put my shoes on dev. If only pictures I sent to my E-mail through my phone were pictures I could actually get on my computer. x/

It's just as pretty as the more red one But because I myself fancy more blue than red, I must say I like this one more. But they're both so awesome and I just love the idea of beadwork phoenixes!

Thank you

I really want to know what you would say to my green phoenix

when he is finished ^^

But today I will finish my bald eagle.. when I get new black beads <.<

Oo, I must check out the green one absolutely when you get it ready (I have some strange fascination towards color green at the moment)

A bald eagle sounds cool as a bead work, I'd like to see it also ^^ Will you upload it into your gallery?

NiennaVernet In reply to WhitePhoenix7 [2009-03-11 13:35:45 +0000 UTC]

hehe

i hope the different kinds of green will match at the phoenix.

And yes i will upload the bald eagle. I only need to finish the last wing. But no idea if a can do this today... i have a driving school lesson in the evening ^^

Maybe tomorrow or at the weekend

Well, we will see when you get the green phoenix ready I could give you this little advice to use a bit of yellow or orange in it also, as I once drawed a green phoenix and those colors fitted to it quite nicely But of course the work is yours and you decide what colors you will use ^^

I'll be checking out the bald eagle gladly also, when you just manage to finish and upload it here. I bet it looks awesome. And have a good lesson there

I like his colors much better than the fire phoenix, but his wings look thinner than the fire phoenix's. I don't know if that's the color or the photo. Beautiful work.

This is so intricately done! The phoenixes you've done look very complex to make : 0~ And I agree, a nice background would make it all the lovelier

thank you

Well I tryed to build up a little iceworld but I suck at it.

I know a god location for my next phoenix.. but at the moment.. I really have no glue how I can place the water phoenix. And no I don't push him into the bathtub filled with water xD

Thank you.

The only bad thing on this pictures.. you can't see the purple shine on his back and wings.

I hope I can manage this on the final pictures to show his full brightness.
