This picture, to me, is very conceptual. It makes me think of how, as we get older, we forget the simple pleasures in life...like blowing and kicking over dandelions. It looks to me as if the dandelion lays on the cement, forgotten.

Haha, of course. And I really did think that the first time I saw it...I just sort of sat there staring at it for a few minutes and was like "Oh shit man, I gotta use that" I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to use it for my English report? Here's what I wrote to go with it: Nine: With the technological revolutionβs help, we forget the simple pleasures in life; a weekend at the lake; a night spent upon games with our family; rolling down grassy hills and kicking over white dandelions; everything we once knew and loved is destroyed as we get olderβ¦as we get trapped within the maze that is societyβs pedestal. And if I can use it you will be cited on the last page with all the other work.

love the way you have framed the flower and its shadow.
The whole play of dark and bright parts in the image adds movement to a really still scene.
And the dof really adds depth to the image (mmmh kind of an understatement ^^)
