Hello! I'm here to deliver all the feedback you gained on this piece at #Traditional-Artists 's Critique Night!
To give as many artists the chance to get feedback on their personal style, I chose one piece out of your two. This one seemed better to me, as there is more to say about composition and overall action. I hope you can understand that!
Of course your other piece stays in the Critique Wanted folder waiting for it's won feedback.

Here are the critiques you got on this one:

By *Donguri7 :
"Fascinating color composition - I love how the variations of green take the viewer through your composition, and the bits of bright purple are a great accent. Your figures are really well observed. Their anatomy, facial expressions, and clothing are all great. I think I’m just feeling a little disconnection in the composition itself. The figure on our right seem to be in another scene, apart from the other two, and separate from their actions. Maybe if her foot extending to them was not in such shadow, that would unite them better. Or, if she had a few more bright highlights, in her hair or on her cheekbones, she would relate better, and stand out more from the background. But really, this is nicely done, well observed, and very interesting."

By *Dalal-N :
"For the most part, I agree with donguri7. The figure on the right stands out. I think it's less because of her coloring and because she's too large.
I get that the composition was supposed to have people standing at three different distances from each other, but the effect is too exaggerated on the woman. She's much larger than the others, whereas the dark-haired man is more or less a regular size for the distance. There is also the issue of the leg on the ground. It seems off to me, and this I think is because of her size. The size of the leg shrinks with the perspective, but the effect is jarring because (I hesitate to repeat this for the third time... I'm not trying to rub this in, I swear) of the fact that she's too big. The colors are excellent and the poses of the two figures on the left are well-done and properly engaging. Overall, I like how it was done."

By *LeahJay :
"In this case just adding a few more values tending toward black and a few more "paths" of light like the one you put on the rocky face she is leaning up against would really turn the drama up a notch! The misty feeling wouldn't be lost IMHO. I like those mists I think what people may be confused about are the steps the brunette is sitting on. Maybe if the steps were more pronounced forms (value and line) then the sizes of the characters would "read" better.
Here's another thing that I always forget myself and is good to remember. Imagine the spines of all the characters in the picture, separately. So there are three black lines on the picture. See it?
Now...tilt one of the lines one way or the other. Now, tilt another one, the other way, less so. Now, the scene starts to really come to life! The thing is about this one, it's so good, and the elves are so pretty and well-done (faces and ears in particular) and the gold and green are so soothing, that.....I'm going to go favorite this one, right now. Takes me back to the old gaming days, it does!"

By *Feidhelm :
"I like the color scheme, it's very fit for depicting an underground scene (possibly a cave?), as well as the character's positions and expression, they are very well rendered and they complement the story. One thing I do not like is the overly sketchy look of the work, it gives me the feeling that it's rushed, as if it's a colored sketch. If this was intended, then I take my words back. I like the overall look though."

I hope this is helpful and you can use it for your future work!

You can if you want - I'm sure they would appreciate it, but if you don't have the time or don't want, you really don't have to
