Thanks for your comment - yes, this is an old photograph I took many years ago on Kodachrome. I scanned it ona film scanner and converted it to B&W in Photoshop. The man in the photograph is, of course, old, but I agree that the overall feel of the shot is of a time gone by - maybe that's because it is for me! This was taken on the far west coast of Ireland, about as far west as it's possible to go.

This was taken on the far West coast of Ireland. There are similarities with Scotland, but the Highlands of Scotland are much wilder, much more rugged - a generally 'bigger', more feel to the country than Ireland. Both are equally beautiful in their own way...
