OHMYOHMYOHMY I love how this turned out! At first I thought it would turn out horrible, but, nope! I'm so happy, if you can tell.

This is for a contest for #Warriorcatcouples called "Who are the REAL parents?" My picture is of Kinkfur, and Reedwhisker, who I suspect is Dewkit, Mistkit, and Sparrowkit's father (If you don't know, Dewkit, Mistkit, and Sparrowkit are all from the book "Night Whispers." Not very big characters, but oh well. ) I've been suspecting this ever since I read that book, namely for these reasons:
1) Dewkit and Mist kit sound like RiverClan names, and Reedwhisker is from RiverClan, whereas the kits and Kinkfur are ShadowClan.
2) Sparrowkit looks a LOT like Reedwisker!
3) Dewkit and Mistkit look a lot like Mistystar, Reedwhisker's mother.
4) They said who their mother was, but never their father.

I loved making this! I'm very pleased with how the cats turned out. Kinkfur just looks so fluffy and doesn't Reedwhisker look like a panther? If you are curious, Kinkfur is supposed to look big, 'cause she's very close to her kitting and this is her last meeting with Reedwhisker. So sad. But I love the way her eyes turned out.

When I first thought of this, I thought of maybe having them meeting beside the Thunderpath on the border of their territories. But then someone reminded me that a road wouldn't be a very romantic place to meet, So I thought maybe the dock at the Greenleaf Twolegplace would be better; but I can't draw docks. So I chose a lovely spot next to the boat shack there on a bit of ground that sticks out into the lake a bit (and yes, this IS actually on the map of the territory!) and thought it was perfect.

I love the sky. I intended it to be sunset, with the first stars, of night just appearing, but technically WindClan territory (Which is in the background) is east...but for a picture we can be bad and have the sun set in the east. It was hard to make the lake look like a lake and not a reflection in a mirror, so I hope I did alright. Yes, I drew pine trees on the island instead of oak trees. So what. I always imaged pine trees there. The beam of light going across the water was actually a late addition that I decided to add when the picture was starting to look like the solar system, and I'm glad I did, 'cause it's my favourite part! The only thing I would change would be the house-thingy, 'cause it just doesn't look quite right.

You can use this, as long as you GIVE ME CREDIT. If you don't, I will find you, hunt you down, and repeatedly poke you with a long stick until you take it down from wherever you posted it without permission.
