Last thing of my college drawing I’m posting for a bit. This is like the most atrocious angle of a picture I could have made it at but since me and my art teacher had beef this piece does actually have a meaning. For context I argued that not everything has a story in my art sometimes it’s an “I feel like it move,” he told me a long list of reasons that my art should have meaning to make it interesting to me. This piece was fully created out of spite because he made me mad. I wanted to work in colors and experiment with different mediums (makers) but oh because I had to make it interesting for myself. I choose to add purple. Here was no real reason just wanted to. I don’t even like purple that much. He told the class it gave it a tropical effect <3 no bro it’s just purple. Then I decided who needs to fill in that bridge. If I do enough of the scenery around it who will notice. Sure enough my art teacher didn’t notice that there is still actively white spots on that page. Then I was like huh who needs to know what time of day it really is. So bright blue but the lights are on in the distance. He said it was almost psychological. He didn’t even notice that said lights are floating. There’s suppose to be a poll there. But hey, he is the professor, he knows best. He actually liked this piece and I do too. But man am I sick of everything needing a story to him. I was lazy and wanted to draw in purple. He made me mad so I wanted to see what all I am able to get away with. Now if only my camera angles would get better
