The words came out in Xala's head, along with physically in front of them. A cursive, purple script, Xala hastened to add. He looked around quickly to see the speaker, but he couldn't see another soul in this blackness.
"Down 'ere." The voice came out and the words grew out from the ground in front of him. He looked down, but it was to no avail, nothing could be seen. Xala tried stepping forward carefully.
"Oi! Am down 'ere you ken!"
Xala peered down still in this state of shock as he saw something...It glinted at him from just below his previous eyesight. It was a small little ball of fire, lighting a cigarette.
"Yalright?" it said, flickering slightly that could associate itself with something of a wink.
"Please, little fire, would you please,
What is going on, don't tease." Xala replied, squatting down in order to view the flame in more detail. It was a simple flame, as if on a candle, a cigarette sticking out of a little gap in the middle, as if used for a mouth. Xala also noted there were small gaps which seemed to be for eyes. It winked again and the surroundings all changed and warped. Long trees stuck out of the ceiling, reaching down to the floor with their tips. A broad range of colours seemed to dance across the leaves as Xala stared at them, wide eyed. He recognised this place...and he did not like it. He instantly moved behind one of the trees, taking care not to tread on one of the silvery white flowers that decorated the night floor. He could hear it, it was defiantly here. A footstep crunched into the floor, as if crushing glass. But it echoed to Xala's ears and he closed his eyes and prayed he wasn't here. He opened his eyes and as he did, his breath left him. It was there, in front of him. His eyes met those two large bags of pus with iris' that were used to see, placed on either side of a large leathery muzzle, ending in a small horn. Rows of teeth could be seen as it opened its mouth, letting out a stench of grotesque fear. Two out the four ears flicked on the left side of its head as the mane around its neck shook, letting out a spider. Well, a creature similar to a spider.

Xala yelled out, finding his breath and struck out along with it, closing his eyes and dashing to the side, running away as quick as possible. He opened his eyes again, to see where he was going. But he was somewhere else. This time a cave where glowing yellow vines crept up the walls around him. Literally moving slowly, like snakes and slugs. He recognised this place too, but he'd rather be here than the forest. If only it could be made sure Tarn didn't sho- nope there she was... A tall figure also occupied the cave, too tall it seemed as she was kneeling down, yet still had her head bowed because it was touching the ceiling. He long, white hair shone, reflecting off the yellow glow as her two long arms reached forward to Xala, smiling. Yes, her mouth was spread across her hands, they did actually smile.
"Nice to see you, Xala." Voiced Tarn, looking at his with a large, gray eye.

But then she, and all the surroundings, went up in smoke. It was blue smoke, if you're interested. Leaving Xala somewhere new. As well as dreadfully confused.
