I love Ken Ashcorp's OC. i really like how the OC is completely unrelated to him (as far as i know ). it seems to me that this OC is like Ken's inner personality, and it also reflects the things he likes. Or at least thats what i like to think

I don't think that really matters though. OC's can be whatever you want them to be. I have boy oc's even though I'm a girl, and I put at least some of myself in all my work.

I meant you should make yourself who you are, cause when you make yourself a different gender it's a bit creepy. Then again, making yourslf half animal throughout your songs is abit weird too, though at least people know who you are.

OC stands for Original Character, buddy. Not all original characters one creates should represent themselves. What you are talking about is a persona.

So you did say OC. And yes, it does change it quite a bit. A persona is normally referred to an artist's original character that is suposed to be a representation of themselves. Some have "fursonas" that are the same thing, but are furry characters. An original character is pretty much every character one creates. Book characters are OCs the author created, and that doesen't make them a representation of the author. Original characters can be personas of the artist, but not all of them are.

I never said it was not his OC. In fact, I typed ou my first comment alredy knowing Kenny was Ken's OC, and not persona.
The main reason why I typed the first comment was because you were talking as if Kenny was a persona, not an OC, and you were refering to OCs as if they were personas.Β
Although, I do wonder sometimes. About the possibility of Kenny being his persona. Considering her story, one can assume she would be the one singing/writting the songs Ken posts. But who knows. Only Ken himself would be able to answer this. For now, I stick with the idea that she is only his OC. And on another note, I have a friend whose persona is a boy, even though the creator is a girl. I don't find it weird at all, considering how she acts "boy-ish".

I do. And it IS an OC, as far as I'm concerned. It still doesen't change teh fact that you were interpreting it as a persona earlier in the conversation, which is the reason our little conversation came to be.
