This drawing is dedicated to my dear friendIt's a sequel of this drawing from her (at the top left corner) => fav.me/ddqfch0
Cayo the suchomimus has a crush on Spinosa, the spinosaurus. He tried to show her at Valentine's day, hopping that Spinosa would be his Valentine. But Spinosa being Spinosa, it's a bit hard for Cayo to show her his feelings.
My drawing happens later, after my friend's drawing.
Spinosa would love to swim, but the lake is still frozen. And Spinosa absolutely hates frozen lakes, she is really upset and growls at not being able to swim. Cayo see her, and thinks it's the right time to help her, so that the latter notices him. He picks up a heavy rock block, and hits it against the ice to break it. Spinosa is surprised to see him, and wonders what this suchomimus had in mind. But deep down, she greatly appreciates his help.

First of all, big thank you for your patience! I know that I'm super slow at times with writing comments, but I rather take my time and write a proper one instead of just writing fast something half-assed ;3;

I adore the colors of this drawing! I think that they look very nice together and you have managed to make it look like there is cold in this drawing. I like a lot of the background, especially the sky looks great <3
I think that you have drawn our characters very well too! I like their poses and overall the composition and I loooooove Spinosa's expression xD She looks so annoyed ahahah poor girl. I like a lot how you have drawn Cayo's head and hands and the way you have colored him looks super nice ;____; I think that the colors you used for him works really well <3 Oh and I really like also how the characters' colors and background colors looks together <3
I love drawings with story and I have to say that you did really good job with both writing and art >/////< The art itself already tells so much and the story behind the art just makes it even more perfect <3

I agree with you, I still think that traditional art (whatever the media used) is so underrated. So it's nice that hear when some artists have soft spot in their heart for traditional art

Aww, that's so nice you like the background too. Nice that you like the colors of the sky, I make it with purple tones, since the lake has a lot of blue. I think these colors work well together. ^_^ <3
Thank you very much, I'm happy to hear you like the way I draw our characters, and how I made Cayo's colors. The colors of Cayo are not easy to do in traditional, so I use colors that come closest, but it looks good on him, and it doesn't alter the original character, as you created it. <3 And yes, Spinosa is always a bit grumpy, so this expression fits her very well.
