Should be using her Biotics, but I think she wants to do this all personal like.
Flaw in the armour design. Its a hardsuit, but the neck is fully articulated, meaning Jack should be able to make his head point a direction its not supposed to.
Of course the designers expected gun fire, explosions, biotics, and omni-blades, not a pissed off woman trying to twist the wearer's head off.
