This is actually really enjoyable Nightfable.
Your playing on the hope for a deeper relationship between Shepherd and Jack, and you're doing it better than I was expecting. Mass Effect ended on a dud note. Jack really fits Shepherd in ways that I never felt a character like Ashley or the other "strange" romances did. Shepherds personality never seemed to reflect the cookie cutter, Ashley. He's edgy in his own respects. I think the freaky convict romance is out of place and far out there, just like Shepherd can be. Superficially, the romance is strange but it has the potential to be something like this. Cute, cringe-worthy at times, sure, but the feel's are all still there. With help from your care and attention to a few details that make this adorable.
It's easy for me to say I enjoyed this story more than most of the Electronics Arts million dollar story. Your touch is pleasant and quaint. I'm glad you took it upon yourself to produce these, I look forward to reading the rest. Psychopathic amounts of killing mercenaries has nothing on a well, unpredictable (as Shepherds character would suit), invested relationship with the jigsaw-woman, with a dangerous personality, as colorful as Shepherds past. She seems to be an obscure but obvious choice.

How informal, even Jack is shocked! I love her hand just listing out there, showing her surprise. Your posing is magnificent.
I also didn't notice the added length of hair, that is a brilliant touch!

I know this has almost nothing to do with the context of the picture other than to show time elapsed, but I really like Jack's ponytail longer like that, haha, reminds me of my hair. XD (I've only got one side shaved, though.)

I just finished the Citadel DLC with my Ren shep and Jack, the LI scenes in that are awesome. I wont spoil them for anyone here but do you think you'll incorporate any of them into this comic?
