Here is the finished doll. He was a lot of fun to make. Hand painted auburn hair and green eyes and Hiccup's costume from the first HTTYD movie. The shield is made of wood and clay and hand painted to match the TV series. Thank you for looking. How did you do his eyes? Do you have any tips/tutorials?

Sorry I don't have any tutorials for this guy on Deviantart...I have started putting a few tutorials on my instagram account (IG @nightfoxcreations if you want to see).
As for his eyes I used an acrylic paint primer so that the paint would "stick" to the plastic (otherwise it just slides right off), then mixed up a green acrylic paint to match his eye color (do a few thin coats as it works better than trying to blob it on...turns out way better), and then used a gloss, semi-gloss, or satin sealer so that the paint would have some shine and be protected (your call on how shiny you would like his eyes to be). Oh and some really tiny brushes (personally I like angled brushes...they just seem to work well for me). Let me know if that helps...sorry I don't think that I even have any works in progress posted for this guy.
