Hurr. D: THIS is EXACTLY why I never draw group pictures. They always end up... weird. Grossly off-proportion. That kind of stuff. It's good practice though.

So here's the story. I wanted to draw Mikey and Raph hugging. But I wanted them both to be in character. It seemed impossible until I remembered the episode of Dirty Jobs with the charcoal hopper. [link] (About 1:45 is what I used for reference.) But why be stuck in charcoal when you can be eaten by a mysterious black vortex? Hoo boy. I had too much fun with that vortex. (Night of Sh'Okanabo, anyone?)

So, yes. Just procrastinating on my novel, really. I had fun though. Hopefully you'll be amused too.
