New OC Hopefully he'll get me into drawing some more humanoid poses!! I referenced an image on Google for his body, but the legs and head are from Dobermans and The Mummy (legs). Read about his personality and history to know more about him!

Name: Anubis
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown (Immortal)
Breed: Unknown
Facts:
- He can run up to twenty miles an hour at top speed.
- His body is mostly skin, the closest thing to fur he has is around his stomach.
- He only has 4 fingers on each hand.
- Doesn't have a tail.
Height: 6ft 8in, but can reach up to 8 feet if he stretches hard enough
Personality: Even though he looks menacing, he loves the company of those who are willing to approach. Anubis is extremely protective and will do anything to protect those he loves. There are no known creatures like him, and he is extremely lonely as his species was long since wiped out in the age of Cleopatra.
History: Where he came from is unknown to everyone. During a war between Egypt and the American army fighting ISIS, one of the soldiers fell into a buried temple where Anubis was living and hiding, and he was afraid of seeing humans after his entire race was wiped out thousands of years ago. The soldier couldn't get out and he saw Anubis, and tried to shoot him, but his gun was damaged, as was his ankle from the fall. Anubis saw the injury and surprised the soldier by speaking English, asking if he was okay. The soldier's name was Allan Cordman.

Wary, Allan allowed Anubis to come closer, and Anubis used the soldier's jacket to wrap the broken ankle, along with the broken off shaft of the gun. None of the soldiers from above heard Allan's cries, so he talked to Anubis, asking what he was and where he came from. After explaining everything about him, Allan took out a picture of his family from his wallet, and showed it to Anubis. A wife, and two beautiful daughters. He would be done of his deployment within the year, and he couldn't wait to go home.

Night soon came and there was still no signs of help. Allan cried out once more before soldiers from ISIS found him. They set down a ladder and Allan gave his photo of his wife and daughters to Anubis and told him to hide. But five soldiers came down and saw Anubis getting ready to stand up. With a warning snarl, Anubis was ready to pounce at them, but ISIS lifted their guns and started to shoot. Before the bullets hit him, Allan threw himself over Anubis, and took every single bullet in his back. Most were stopped by his vest, but some went right through.

As he lay dying in Anubis' arms, the great beast roared at the ISIS soldiers and leaped at them, tearing each and every one of them apart. He grabbed the dogtags around Allan's neck and put them around his own, grabbed one of the guns the terrorists dropped, and took the man's body in his arms. He climbed up the ladder, shooting any terrorist that got in his way, and carried Allan to his base many miles away. By the time he got there, the sun had come up. He approached and dropped the gun, but the soldiers were terrified of this beast. For all they knew, this beast killed their comrade. There was so much blood on Allan, they didn't see the bulletholes at first.

Anubis laid Allan down gently in the sand near the closest Commander, and set his photo of his wife and children beside him. When he tried to speak to the Commander, he ordered them to fire at will. Anubis didn't understand, and took off back into the desert, faster than any soldier could fathom, for none of them could catch him. After the Commander saw the bulletholes in Allan's body, and the ISIS gun, he realized his mistake, and ordered his soldiers to find Anubis, but they never did. Even to this day, Anubis wears Allan's dogtags in memory of the soldier who saved his life.
