I used normal shoes and glued foam onto them, cutting that into the right shape. Then I just glued fabric over it. They're nice for photos, but if you wanna go to Cons or such I advice to just buy some normal boots, it's kinda hard to walk in these things.
The wires are just cable ties, I rolled up some Fabric and put it inside so they stayed in shape.

Oh and the smaller ones are real cables that I also sewed onto the suit.
