now animate it! (heeeeeee.)
My sympathy for time spent, 3d consumes what little time one has quickly. Nice to know you've the eternal patience to work in this medium, I surely don't!

What do I look like? *hides* I haven't...err...quite managed the animating thing yet :\ Though admittedly, I've been working more on learning to model than learning to animate lately. (I wish the schools around here had better animating/3d programs, but the local ones don't sadly.)
"eternal patience" HA! You don't know me. I have the patience of a flea with 99% of life. (I think I skipped that line because it was too long and went back for seconds on angst or something...) Seriously, my art is the only area that I have remote patience, and even then, I get quite bored quickly. I have pieces I started a year ago that never got finished because I got bored with them. As sad as that is to admit :\

haha, yeh. Actually the whole "animate it" thing was just a joke (well kind of a bitter sarcastic joke). I lost alot of hair and gained alot of wrinkles from 3d class in school.
So professionally speaking it is probably more benificial to focus on specific aspects of 3d. Most big projects have people who just model, texture, and animate.
shit! you reminded me of the milllion projects in all the closets begging to be finished! Don't let them hear this conversation! shhhhhhh.......be vewy vewy quiet.......

See that's my problem...I don't want to do just ONE thing. I want to know everything...and while that's a noble thought, I'm not sure it's physically (or mentally) possible!
We won't talk about how much hair I lost in school *snuggles the hair she has left* I just graduated in May for Graphic Design so it's still quite fresh in mind LOL
Hell, don't let my projects hear this conversation...they'll start bonking me in the head while I'm sleeping!

Nice work, except for the fact that its one of the default models from Alias Wavefront Poser with some clothes pasted ontop. Hmm... or was this airbrushed in Photoshop?

"default models from Alias Wavefront Poser"? No actually it's V3 HUGELY morphed with lots of custom magnet morphs, all clothes have custom tex maps...and yes, there *IS* a lot of Photoshop work involved as well...

Okay, so its still a model from Poser... I do not understand why you would use that program rather than just Photoshop? O_o [shrugs]

I happen to like Poser. It's one of my hobbies and I've learned a great deal about the 3D world from it *hugs her Poser* Why not use different tools if they're available?

[shrugs], Maybe its because I'm old-skool (with Photoshop 5) and partial to traditional mediums.

Ahhh...I used to be like that, then my 11th grade art teacher got me into computer generated art...I've been obsessed with every digital tool on the market since. I like pushing the limits of things, finding out what they can be used for other than their original purpose...so much so that my traditional art has suffered...I'm too used to the ctrl-z key now LOL Though I'd do a lot more "traditional" style pieces if I had a tablet...

heh, no I graduated college in May for Graphic Design actually. And yea...I'll admit, I'm quite dependant on the computer. I love my ctrl-z buttons way too much (Hence the downfall in my traditional skills *frowns and wonders what a pencil IS anymore*)
Actually, I was never big into painting...more pencilly and charcoally...I might have to pull the sketchbook out and try to draw something better than a stick person. See if I can actaully manage to get it out without it looking too deathly bad.
