Description
The Insulasaurs,or the island lizards are Cryptadia's most diverse and common group of dinosaurs, having a total of 6 valid species all throughout the 3 islands, with the Insulasaurus,being the name sake of the group, this animal despite being small by dinosaur standards is still 100 kilos and have sharp quills for an intimidating display,a sharp beak to defend itself with even sharper claws ready to slash at any would be carnivores.
Of course Insulasaurs only fight back when either the carnivore is of their size or there's no options left but usually Insulasaurs prefer to flee or go down into the burrows that they dug.
Commonly found in the dense jungles and grasslands of Cryptadia they are often seen just going about their day of foraging, digging and caring for their young, living in small groups lead by the dominant mated pair whom are usually the most experienced and seasoned individuals of the group, forever vigilant listening and watching for any disturbances and at a moments notice, the leading pair will sound an alarm to flee in case they detect something.
