In this fractal there is an interesting escalation in the shades of colors that take the watcher from the lightest to the darkest-
so ,you see a triad of three pinkish triangles-like forms .They take your eye to the next triangles-like of a different color. The outer border is defined by blu and black and touches of white.
It is a pleasing geometry of forms that reminds me of a stellar corpse in agony:so hell and heaven are united in a unity where the base is three and all the elements have three as a basis. The background is like a black hole.

This is amazing! Great render, it took 12 hours?? My longest render so far has been ~2 hours... but then again, it wasn't 5162 x 4000 resolution. That is huge!

Beautifully done, I love the design and how grungy it is, yet peaceful with the color scheme.

I would love to see a 10,000+ quality render zoomed in on the red center.

You must be packing some serious RAM to be rendering so huge

do you post render in apo?

What exactly do you mean with post render?
I'll see what I can do with the 10k quality render .

It is another check box on the render screen, near save parameters and low priority ect,

What it does is give you one last chance to tweak filter radius, gamma, brightness background color, and some parameters not available like vibrancy and contrast.

Once you start, you won't want to stop, because it allows you to give your fractal a professional look, without crossing your fingers and hoping that the low quality preview gave you a good enough idea about the final product.

see this [link] if you are interested in learning more.

I'm always blown away by what you manage with Apophysis. Every time I see your stuff I have to dash off and tinker with the program for hours.
'Course, mine aren't quite so advanced.
Great work as always.

Thank you very much again!
I'm actually glad I'm able to produce some decent fractals again, since I've been out of inspiration for some time.
Do you use scripts? They're a good base for creating fractals.

BellicoseBreakfast In reply to NightmareTF [2009-04-27 23:29:27 +0000 UTC]

Scripts as a base, hm? I've only seen post-work style scripts, like stuff that 'lasticises' a fractal.
Would you be able to point me in the direction of some?
