I am love,I am the phoenix.
I fly, I soar,
I hear the fire's mighty roar.
I hunt, I'm free,
this life is fit for me.
I am time,
I am the phoenix.
I falter, I return,
to my mighty urn.
I erupt in flames,
the fire that burns and maims.
I am space,
I am the phoenix.
Surrounded by ash, I am reborn,
all that's left is a tiny thorn,
tentatively, I take flight,
beating my wings to fly,
floating higher than the sky.
