Assuming you have the same option from a few months ago- How did Ashfur not betray his whole Clan?  Let's see: When Brambleclaw was chosen as deputy due to a Starclan sign, Ashfur accused Leafpool as a liar. Ashfur made his own Clan suspicious of their Medicine cat with no ligament evidence, only do it out of petty personal quarrels.

Ashfur full-out attacked his own apprentice, causing bleeding wounds. Ashfur is an experienced warrior going full-out on an apprentice - He could of seriously hurt or even killed Lionpaw.  

Worked with a Riverclan warrior to kill his leader and frame the deputy. To achieve this he also tricked his apprentice/nephew into spending false message that Blackstar wanted to "talk to Firestar". If successful, Thunderclan would be left without a leader or deputy and possibly at war with Riverclan and/or Shadowclan.  

Then years later, Ashfur attampted to burn three of his clanmates alive: A blind Medicine cat, the 2nd best hunter and his own apprentice/best fighter. Then afterwards, he planned to tell the secret at the Gathering, weakening Thunderclan, especially soon after the 4-Clan in Eclipse. Even after being warned 4 separate times of the consequences, Ashfur didn't care, in fact he wanted to worsen the reaction to the point of getting Squirrelflight exiled.

I just meant that hee didn't really outright try and hurt thunderclap he just wanted to hurt squirrelflight in any way possible. . .

At the expense of endangering the whole of his Clan. Ashfur knew exactly what he was doing, he was warned 4 times about one his crimes afterall, he just didn't care. He's a traitorous cat to his whole Clan. Also, he's willing to murder absolutely anyone, just as long they have a by-chance connection to Squirrelflight, with absolutely no regard if they're innocent or how important their rank is. Including a Leader, his apprentice and Blind Medicine cats. Not even that, as Ashfur willing to do this to cats who ain't even related to Squirrelflight. Like when he scapegoated his own apprentice/nephew, Birchpaw when he tricked him into sending the message in the Foxtrap scheme. Ashfur the most selfish character possible and definite traitor through and through.

He had his heart broken and he couldn't deal with the pain, which drove him insane, and he only wanted someone else to know the pain he was going though. He made bad decisions, sure, but overall, he's not a bad cat. Quote from the books: "His only fault was that he loved too much." :3
