Carla's character andrawr! [link]It was tons of fun working on her :3 I used sooo many layers @.@ Especially the clouds and the fire blast
For this artwork I experimented with different brushes again.Used this dog as a reference [link] but I ended up changing a few things.. :]
Advise more than welcome!

Don't want to be on the other end of that fire blast. So amazing! o,o I always looked up to your art especially how you color and whatnot let it be digitally and traditionally. The atmosphere is awesome and just love everything about this.

Haha no better not! In general she's a very friendly dragon and is not easily angered or triggered so I think you'll do just fine

You know, another tip I've learned not so long ago is to use cold shadow colors
like for example you use purple in a red color, blue in a green color and red in a yellow/orange color
you should try it

Thanks for the advice! Yes I think i've seen that method before but never really tried it out. Not sure if I can still use it on this work (because there's already a thick layer of colored pencils on the paper a next layer won't 'stick'). Hmm I'm curious to try it out though :3

This looks fantastic: the colouring is just WOW, got to love that atmosphere. Andrawr is not the aggressive/fighter type, but when she gets into it, I imagine exactly as the picture.
That fire blast is just amazing, great colouring and fire effect, I can't do that even if I die

The clouds look so soft! The kinda smug expression on the dragon's face seems to say, "Hah, look at what I can do! POOOFFIRE!"
Nice job on the scratchy mountain rock texture too.
