Description UPDATED!

Well...I seem to be likin' oceans at the moment...this was exeptionally hard for me...the water at her hemline to be exact caused me hours of frustration...but...I think I'm happy with the end result and her dress does indeed look a little wet, doesn't it? Be nice please! LOL!

Ok are you ready?? I know you want one, so here goes.... Love me in the morning still! LOL.
The concept is wonderful. I can feel the desperation flowing through the piece. Very emotional. I like the over all composition. Now for the dreaded critique. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/f/fā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Sad)" /> The water is great, good blends on that part. I didn't even see the castle until I looked at the credits and I had to go back and look hard to see it. You could easily have made it stand out if you brought it in front of the sky instead of blending it into the sky.
The model's dress, yes that looks good, and you have done well on the hem line, just a little too much splash action, but it is not distracting. The only thing I can see about the model is the lighting. It is too harsh, and the wrong direction, if you had flipped her around it would have made it flow with the sky. I hate doing these, and you know I love ya and think you are very talented! Just a few tips e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" /> Muah!

LOL! Don't be so hard on yourself sweety....what good is a site like this without thoughts and tips on improving?

I totally agree with you on her lighting, in fact, after I submitted it I noticed it and still have it open in paint shop pro to edit her...the castle.....I wanted it far away...I wanted it to seem as if she's waiting for something that seems almost to far away to ever be within' her grasp....something I'm feeling myself personally these days..

I'm going to try to fix her up...thank you Trish! I DO still love you!

LOL.. She looks a lot better... but you are taking the old part out of the water huh? I am not sure what paint shop pro has for lighting effects.. is there curves on it? or exposure levels you can play with? I think if you bring the exposure down on her, it will make the dress less harsh. But yes now the light matches!

Girl, I'm an amatuer at this, not sure if you know that, I only JUST learned how to do a lot of the things I'm doing in my manipulations by simply playing around...light affects are the least of my worries LOL!

I have loads of plug ins...the same plug ins that are used on photoshop, and lots of em have lighting affects, Auto FX Dreamsuite has AWESOME lighting affects..but, I only tinker with em occasionally becaue to much tinkerin' at one time makes this NightAngel a bit irritable

Old part out of the water? Not sure whatcha' mean...

Well, I'm glad the light matches now! LOL!
