"Honor thy Father and Mother," the commandment says, and it is thus fitting on my birthday (Nov. 22) to submit a picture of them posing before the super grand display of aurora on the evening of Nov. 8, 1991 - right across the alley from the house. The view is to the east, with the sky "blooming" red & orange from the bright surge.Related content

It's a great aurora. Somethimes auroras with that intensity are visible in middle latitudes.
