Description
This is a vintage ‘Action Girl’ doll I have just finished customizing to make her fit in with the classic Action Man Space Ranger line from the 1980’s.
I started off by adding new elastic to her body as her joints were very loose.
Her blue jump suit is the official one she came in.
Her gloves are from A Cy girl figure which I added some details to, so as they would look more like the ones worn by Action Man.
Her Helmet, phaser & boots are also from the Action Man Space Ranger line. However, I shrunk her boots to make them fit her better. You can see how I did it in this link…

I finally made her a new tabard & holster in a smaller size that would fit her better. I made them from some silver faux leather.

I think some of the more modern articulated female dolls fit in pretty well with action man but I do like Action Girl as she was released around the same time. I keep meaning to try doing a vintage Sindy custom but I would really need to shrink her head a bit to make her fit in better with the action man proportions.

It makes sense that there should be an action girl/woman to be part of Action Man.
By the way have you seen The Toys That Made Us on Netflix, they have episodes on all the stuff we like.
