the next character to be added to my nostalgic toon trip down memory lane is debbie gibson.when i was around 13 or 14 i started getting more into music & my favourite artist at that time was debbie gibson. i think i had all of her albums at one point.

Wow! I tend to forget how pretty (and HOT!) she is and was! I was a big fan of hers, considering she's only 82 days older than me. (Does that sound as 'stalker-ery' to you as it does to me? Yeah, I thought so too.)
IMHO, she should have been Paula Abdul's replacement on American Idol (rather than a certain non-singer who thinks they know music talent.) She would make a great mentor and positive influence to anybody performing, and probably put Simon in his place.

This brings me back to my 11 year old self prancing around my parents living room making up routines to Electric Youth and thinking in my head that I was so amazingly cool when in real life I was being bullied and was a very lonely little girl because kids didn't seem to want to be friends with the quirky kid
Honestly, people like Debbie Gibson are amazing
