I really enjoyed Mickey's transformation from being such a scaredy-baby to becoming someone determined and ready for just about anything.

They basically are the exact same person. They just have a different name and experiences. But physically they're the same.

He was a bit of an idiot to start with but really developed into a very reliable companion. A shame he didn't become a fully regular like Rori did.

I agree I would love to see them return. A shame that Moffit seems to want to erase much of what Russel T Davis did, the crack in the wall for example was his first move. The 50th special gave me hope however that he might be moving back on that decision.

Yes I am excited. I never really got into Matt Smith, I found that there were just too many changes too early into his run. I did grow to appreciate his work, I just hope Moffit is improving the 50th special and last Christmas special were too very well done episodes, the best since the last David Tennant movie where he regenerated.

yea i totally agree, i found matt smith got a lot better when the ponds left. i think Clara being a stronger companion really helped him.

I agree I never did like Amy Pond, Rori was ok but I really like Clara and I am glad she is sticking around for the new doctor, though Donna still holds up as my favourite companion.
